One of our local employers was on the front page of the Monadnock Ledger last week regarding a $400,000 settlement with OSHA for worker safety violations. Ouch! Renegade leaders do not sit back and wait. They don’t watch what their competition is doing and quiver. They don’t believe less business with happen with the upcoming holidays. Renegade leaders are driven and take action. So if you are ready to move forward in your business, to step outside the circle of safety and mediocrity and enjoy a new business adventure, continue to read The Renegade Leader. Here you will find weekly how to strategies to help you to attract, convert and retain clients.
Here you will find resources to find the most powerful leader within yourself. Here you will find
me, your coach, committed to your personal success.
So what can you do to do get started? Read through the following 3 strategies, choose one and take action. All three will help to you attract new clients, even while you sleep! Many business owners I coach fail to use any of these believing they need to be involved in personally attracting every new customer to their shop, workshop or website. Would you like to receive more business and work less hours? Spend more time serving your clients than marketing to prospects? If so utilize one of the strategies below. I look forward to hearing your results!
1 Offer one free tasty item that does not use your time, can be developed once and used over and over again. Examples include a free report, top 10 tip list, a how to guide, an article, case study or a sample of a product. It does not involve your TIME. Offer this item on your website (more about technology another time), in direct mail, via a postcard mailing, on the back of your business cards etc. Develop your one free thing and I’ll tell you what to do with it next week.
2.Play with others. Think of one person or organization that serves the same prospects that you do but your offerings do not conflict. Together think of ways you can co-recommend services/products. An accountant can have information about a business coach in their office; a coach can offer information from a nutritionist and visa versa. Trade information, maybe even do a joint mailing, offer your “free thing” via postcard or business card.
3. Let the internet find your next client. I have over 104 posts I can write here but let’s start here. Write a 400 word article (Sharon can help!), a how to article. It includes the topic, why it is important to know about, the 3 key points and back up materials and how to use the information given. Establish a www.ezinearticles.com account for free and post your article. In the resource box send people to your free thing. People will find you, you will become known as an expert, you will add a Google listing for your name or company name and you will claim your space in what you do!
Try 1 or all 3, post your successes!
