Health in the Workplace Begins Today

Employees spend the majority of their lives at work. Yet, companies may never fully realize how much of their employee's health depends on the work environment. So what can employees do themselves?

  1. When we have a break from sitting, we will move. Standing and moving at intervals is vital for health.
  2. When we can be kind to each other, we will be kind. Workplaces are stressful enough without bullying and back-stabbing.
  3. When we eat in a group, we will not make negative comments about each other's meals. Those who want to diet deserve support; those who don't, deserve to eat in peace.
  4. We will not take the weight of the entire company on our shoulders. The world will not collapse because a package arrived five minutes late. We will do what we can.
