If starting a business is in your future, make sure to take full advantage of all the regional resources available to you.

First Things First: Evaluate Your Business Idea

Before going too far with any idea, review the New Hampshire Small Business Development's Evaluating Your Business Idea.  While you're at their website, take some time to browse their Resource Library.

Assess Your Internal Readiness

Even if you have an excellent business idea, do you also have all the personal and family support you need to become a business owner?  Sign up for the next Four Things to Consider Before Starting a Business Workshop at the Hannah Grimes Center. This workshop can help make sure that your passion is tempered by reality.  Call 603-352-5063 or jen [at] hannahgrimes [dot] com (email) Hannah Grimes to find out the next time this workshop will be offered.

Meet With a Business Coach

There are business coaches available in our area who can meet one-on-one with you to help chart your next steps, such as Mondnock SCORE, NH Small Business Development Center and others.  Also check the Hannah Grimes Center events calendar and schedule a free business consulting session with Path of Purpose Coaching or AdviCoach.

Reach Out to Other Experts

To find more help, start networking with current business owners and identify future mentors.  They've been through it!  Find networking events at the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce website and other community calendars.

Starting your own business doesn't mean starting it on your own.  Contact any MBRP Partners and find the resources that work best for you - and feel free to post your questions on the "Starting a Business in the Monadnock Region" Facebook Fanpage
